Ginger Maple Skillet Pears

These beauts are the best sweet treat! And you feel good about it because you’re like “what a healthy snack. granola, pears, yogurt… epitome of health, right??” So I say, let’s glaze those bad boys in some coconut oil + maple syrup so they taste like candy.

What ya need:

  • 1 large pear, sliced thin

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1tsp fresh grated ginger root

  • homemade granola + yogurt to top

Directions:

  1. Let a large skillet warm over medium heat while you prepare ingredients.

  2. add pears, oil, maple syrup, and ginger to pan. Thoroughly coat the pears, cover with a lid and let cook for 5min.

  3. Turn heat up to medium/high, remove lid and let pears get a nice browned glaze on them. Flipping when you see fit.

  4. Top with granola, plant based yogurt, and enjoy that tasty little treat!
