Ginger Maple Skillet Pears
These beauts are the best sweet treat! And you feel good about it because you’re like “what a healthy snack. granola, pears, yogurt… epitome of health, right??” So I say, let’s glaze those bad boys in some coconut oil + maple syrup so they taste like candy.
What ya need:
1 large pear, sliced thin
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp maple syrup
1tsp fresh grated ginger root
homemade granola + yogurt to top
Directions:
Let a large skillet warm over medium heat while you prepare ingredients.
add pears, oil, maple syrup, and ginger to pan. Thoroughly coat the pears, cover with a lid and let cook for 5min.
Turn heat up to medium/high, remove lid and let pears get a nice browned glaze on them. Flipping when you see fit.
Top with granola, plant based yogurt, and enjoy that tasty little treat!
